At the end of the 16th week, your baby measures 19 cm and weighs 200 g. They are very restless and you may begin to feel them move.
The head, which was very large during the first few months, becomes more in proportion. The brain structures develop and your baby is becoming sensitive to touch.
Your baby is covered in a fine layer of down called lanugo and their first hairs begin to appear. Their hair and nails are growing. Their retina is sensitive to light, but your baby will keep their eyes closed, protected by their eyelids.
At the end of the fourth month, your baby measures 20 cm and weighs around 250 g.
