Your baby’s body is becoming rounder and their senses are developing: they can open their eyes but still cannot see. A layer of fat begins to form under their skin, which loses its crumpled appearance. During this trimester, their energy needs are greater. They discover the sense of taste by swallowing amniotic fluid. Their stomach and intestines are working.
They are receptive to their external environment and are listening... to your conversations and the noise and music you listen to.
At the end of this month, they weigh 1,5 kg and measure 50 cm.
