A smoke-free pregnancy

A few tips to take your mind off or replace the desire to smoke


• Drink a glass of water each time you crave a cigarette.

• Eat a piece of sugar-free chewing gum or a sweet instead of a cigarette.

• Do relaxing activities: yoga, sophrology, swimming, walking, etc.

• Keep your hands busy:
    - Arts and crafts
    - Reading
    - DIY

• Avoid situations that will make you want to smoke. Drinking a cup of coffee may thus encourage you to have a cigarette again.

• Make an appointment for an anti-smoking consultation that will help you to limit or stop your cigarette consumption. There are numerous solutions that may be suggested to you:
    - Patch
    - Lozenge or chewing gum
    - Acupuncture

• There is no ideal time to give up cigarettes. Decide to stop smoking right away!
