Good habits
- Your child’s skin is rough to the touch and has little flakes of skin.
- Their skin is extremely dry; it feels tight and itchy and is sometimes accompanied by red patches. Your child regularly scratches themselves.
- Your child perhaps has an asthma-type or allergic rhinitis-type inherited predisposition.
- Dry, rough red patches regularly appear in particular areas, primarily on the face, folds (neck, elbow, behind the knees) and the extremities (hands, wrists and ankle).
It should be noted that the appearance of atopic dermatitis varies according to the age of the child (newborn, baby over 2 years old, over 7s).
- Your baby has trouble sleeping.
