How should you choose your child’s sun protection?
The factor to be taken into account when purchasing a cream is the SPF (Sunburn Protection Factor).
The SPF indicates the level of sun protection.
It ranges between 6 and 50+ according to 4 categories of protection:
• « Low Protection » : 6 - 10
• « Medium Protection » : 15 - 20 - 30
• « High Protection » : 50
• « Very High Protection » : 50+
The Sun Protection Factor must be chosen according to your child’s skin type and exposure to the sun.
However, ensure that you use sufficiently high protection (SPF 50+), irrespective of their skin type.
Generously apply the sun protection before going out in the sun and then take care to reapply an adequate amount at least every 2 hours and each time after going in the water.
