• This is a common problem (1 baby in 2 affected), which increases in the case of diarrhoea, antibiotic treatment and teething.
• It usually appears in the first months, at the age when baby’s diet is diversified or during teething.
• 25% of redness appears during the first four weeks of life.
• Irritation in the diaper area affects up to 60% of newborns*, with a frequency peak between 0 and 1 year, more significantly among little girls.
