It is recommended to consult a doctor if the following symptoms occur
• Difficulties eating (possible thrush, a frequent consequence of diaper rash).
• Persistent diarrhoea.
• Cutaneous rash over the rest of the body.
• Intense redness with visible skin lesions and/or oozing.
• No improvement after 3 or 4 days despite proper care.
