When should you consult a doctor or pediatrician?
• Cradle cap may appear from the first week* of life and sometimes up to the age of 3 years.
• It takes the form of little white or yellowish flakes of skin (squamae) that may become thick and unsightly.
• These flakes are slightly greasy to the touch.
• They are found on baby’s scalp, eyebrows and sometimes the upper part of their face (forehead and temples).
