Beauty tips
• Ask your partner, a friend or one of your parents to look after your baby and take the chance to pamper yourself: go to the hairdresser's, have a facial, massage etc.
• To hide minor blemishes in your complexion, use make-up.
• Wear clothes which make you feel attractive and comfortable.
The body
• Firming / restructuring products
These come in two forms:
- firstly products such as creams etc., which are directly applied to the skin.
- secondly, dietary supplements which are taken orally (don’t forget to check that they are compatible with breastfeeding).
- These products help to restructure the skin which has slackened during pregnancy. They contain active molecules which help to firm up the tissue.
- Some of these products can help to rescuplt the figure, by reducing unsightly fatty areas.
- These restructuring / firming products must be used regularly for several weeks to achieve satisfactory results.
The creams are applied to the areas of the body which are lacking in tone: stomach, hips, breasts (provided they are compatible with breastfeeding).
The dietary supplements are a 3-month diet, taking 2 capsules per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the evening). If you are breastfeeding, avoid products which contain caffeine.
The face
A feeling of well-being starts with clean, well hydrated skin.
All imperfections can be corrected...
• Don’t hesitate to use foundation to cover the mask of pregnancy, or other skin problems.
• Green foundation correctors reduce redness, mauve foundation bases (such as anti-circle foundations) brighten the complexion and clarify dark skin.
• If you want to improve your complexion, use orange or golden beige foundation, which will make your skin radiant!
• A suddenly appearing spot can be quickly covered with a bit of foundation stick: cover lightly, powder, and you're done!
• To mask dark circles under the eyes, use anti-circle foundation, but not too much.
