Protect your baby in winter

Soothing dry skins

In winter, the cold and the dryness of the air can easily disrupt the fragile balance of your baby’s skin: very often, skin shows signs of increased dryness and becomes rough and harsh.

To reduce the risks of skin drying out and help your baby recover soft and supple skin, do all the right things:

• Wash your baby by hand rather than with a flannel and avoid any excessive rubbing of the skin.

• Use a gentle soap-free cleansing gel, formulated especially to protect dry skin from the drying-out effects of hard water.

• Do not let water evaporate naturally off baby’s skin; after each bath, dry without rubbing using a 100%-cotton towel.

• After the toilet, moisturize baby’s face and body with a very nourishing product like Mustela Bébé Cold Cream skincare products.

• Prefer cotton under-garments rather than wool or synthetics, which irritate the skin, and do not use too much detergent in your washing machines.
