We are by parents' side
For 75 years, Mustela has been supporting parents in the everyday challenges, big and small, they deal with each day. Our mission remains unchanged: to make life easier for families by caring for the skin of babies, children, and even parents, with skin care mainly of natural origin that is safe, effective, and always gentle.
The meeting of a pharmacist and an entrepreneur
In 1950, together they invented the first cleansing milk specially designed for babies’ skin. It was a gentle revolution. Since then, several generations of parents have chosen Mustela to look after the skin of everyone in their family.
At Mustela, we have always paid particular attention to the rigorous selection of our ingredients. We have always prioritized sourcing our raw materials from natural or organic sources in order to achieve an average of 96% ingredients of natural origin* in our finished products.
For each innovation, we follow a demanding approach that requires us:
- to rethink our manufacturing methods, for example by exploring cold-process manufacturing;
- to prioritize, whenever possible, the use of recycled materials in the selection of our packaging
*According to ISO 16128 guidelines or the COSMOS standard.
