At the beginning, a fruitful collaboration
Sébastien, our General Manager in Peru, established a partnership with Don Simón, which has been supplying us with upcycled avocados for over 20 years!
We established our own factory in Lima, Peru, to contribute to the development of the local economy, support traditional agriculture, and build trusted relationships with producers.
Our avocados
At Mustela, we prioritize organic farming whenever possible. All the avocados used in our skincare products are upcycled: these are fruits deemed unsuitable for human consumption due to their size, color, or shape.
Concerned about water supply management in Peru, we source ours only from regions where it is naturally abundant and where producers still use ancestral irrigation systems.
